We collect limited information needed to help identify kidney cancer clinical trials that may be relevant to you, including your cancer type, prior treatments, and where you would like to search for trials, such as city and state. We do not collect your street address or date of birth. We do not currently require a name or email to use the tool. Optional account features, which may include information such as your name and email address, may be offered in the future. If they are, we will update this policy and explain what is collected and why.
KidneyCAN does not sell or share your personal information with outside organizations or individuals.
Almara, the technology partner that powers this tool, may analyze aggregated, de-identified usage data to improve the service. In the future, such data may be shared or licensed to third parties in a form that cannot be used to identify individual users. If that occurs, we will update this policy to explain what is shared and why.
KidneyCAN staff do not routinely access individual user information.
Access may occur only when necessary to provide technical support, respond to user requests, or maintain system functionality.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. Neither KidneyCAN nor Almara, the technology partner that powers this tool, is a HIPAA covered entity or healthcare provider.
